Road Closings 2024 Rich Mountain and Parson Branch Roads

Ridge, Heintooga Round Mountain, and Straight Fork
Roads are closed due to the effects of Hurricane Helene. Kuwoki
Rd (formerly Clingmans Dome Rd ), Little Greenbrier Rd to the schoolhouse,
and Roaring Fork Nature Trail Rd will close December 1, 2024 for the winter. The Cosby entrance road closed
December 9, 2024, for rehabilitation work. Completion of this project is
expected in Spring, 2025. At some point, single lane closures might be
implemented, but until that time, there is no access to the trails in the
Cosby campground area. For up-to-date information about roads and trail closures, visit
